Free division facts game
Practise division facts linked to the 2 to 12 times tables, such as 42 ÷ 6 or 96 ÷ 12. Choose a single table or All, then hit the correct answer as fast as you can in 60 seconds.
Why practise division facts?
Division is the inverse of multiplication: if you know 7 × 8 = 56, you also know 56 ÷ 8 = 7 and 56 ÷ 7 = 8. Practising both directions makes times tables recall stronger and helps with fractions, long division and word problems in KS2.
Tips
- Think “what times 6 makes 42?” rather than sharing out.
- Practise the matching times table first.
- Learn fact families: 3 × 4 = 12, 4 × 3 = 12, 12 ÷ 3 = 4, 12 ÷ 4 = 3.
